Centro - Vitória - Espírito Santo - Brasil
[en] From the 16th century until the 1950s, this downtown area (Centro) has been the place where were living the upper class families of the city, mainly from Italian origin. Then these families have moved to a new area, built on a plane surface, made of large avenues, Praia do Canto. The old downtown became a mixed area, where one can find low range shops, bars and restaurants, logistics enterprises and administrations, and lower classes families.

it does look pretty congested.. i like the location you shot this from.. very nice commentary as well..
RépondreSupprimerlove how you framed and composed this
RépondreSupprimermy eyes are drawn to the solitary palm tree in this sea of urbanity. good shot.
RépondreSupprimerA fine documentary image of this central area and its changing class of families. It looks like a very interesting place to visit and to enjoy the shops and cafes. Nice shot.
RépondreSupprimerGreat composition. I love the cold colours here.
RépondreSupprimerit's certainly a great place to visit and walk around, enjoying the rich cultures displayed here! =D
RépondreSupprimerNeglect and "old" doesn't feel good, but it surely "looks" good on photo. It's colorful, it's not "strict". It's human.
RépondreSupprimerThis neighborhood surely seen better days, but it's still look kinda nice on a photo.
wow, great image, not so different from the streets of Macau!

To me this is a portrait of a small man in a huge city. The scale is beautifully shown off here with the inclusion of your distant subject.
