1869 / 2009 - Morro do H - Piúma - Espírito Santo - Brasil

The photograph displayed here on my screen and the one printed in the book both show a hill in Piúma called "Morro do H". They have been shot from two neighboring places. Now I plan to shoot the same series Dietze made 140 years ago, trying to find the exact location where he put the camera.

RépondreSupprimerokay.... now I saw also the einglish text :-)
RépondreSupprimerInteristing project! Looking forward to see the result.
it's a beautiful place and great mood in the images.Good luck with your project.
RépondreSupprimernow that's a great idea for a photo project! looking forward to seeing the results

RépondreSupprimerInteresante búsqueda. Y esta 'metafoto', fantástica.

RépondreSupprimerThat is a great idea... I hope we will see the results on your blog!
RépondreSupprimerA very interesting combination of shots. Your plan is an exciting one and hopefully not too difficult. Finding the exact spot will be quite an adventure.
RépondreSupprimerExcellent idea. Looking forward to seeing this.
RépondreSupprimerGreat concept. I'm sure it will be an interesting series. Nice work.
RépondreSupprimerExcellent and interesting project. Love the first image, beautiful landscape shot, great background mountains.
RépondreSupprimervery cool ... interesting project and idea ... great start ... I am waiting for further combinations!
RépondreSupprimerAt first, before reading your post, the photo looked like "your dream". By that I mean that we can see that you sit next to your computer, but your mind is in totally different place - On the open planes, exotic countries.
RépondreSupprimerReading your post explained the thing to me and I think it's great to try and "recreate" photos of the masters :)
A new meaning to the word "framing". very nice.
RépondreSupprimerBravo! really evocative, and works better than a dyptique.
RépondreSupprimerExcellent and creative shot!
Oh, nice! Very fun, and I like the juxtaposition.
RépondreSupprimerInteresting composition of old photograph shooted by another photographer. Probably i would have shot a colour photo give that the old ones are in b/w.
RépondreSupprimerAnyway i love it as shot :)
Brilliant plan. very interested in the result.
RépondreSupprimervery very original picture, feel to join you in the screen , great work !!
RépondreSupprimerI think this is an awesome idea-can't wait to see the results! Sorry for not being around lately-didn't want to link while the site was having issues (which seem to be resolved). I'll be checking in!
RépondreSupprimerwhat a great idea...i can't wait to see your photos!!
