[en] When I shot this one, I couldn't help but thinking of Florian Fritsch's works - Hobokollektiv - about urban fragments and cityscapes. Florian is a photographic travel companion, whom I accompany along a (not so) virtual road thanks to our respective photoblogs. A brother in photography, a friend who helps me to discover the meanings of our world, and a rambling music connoisseur.

Florian est un compagnon de voyage photographique, que j'accompagne sur une route (pas si) virtuelle grâce à nos blogs respectifs. Un frangin en photographie, un ami qui m'aide à décrypter notre monde, et un connaisseur en musiques dédiées à la vadrouille.

RépondreSupprimerDer monumentale Schattenriss einer Brücke, die ins randlose Schwarz übergeht, eine Laterne, die ihre Augen-Fühler ins Sonnenlicht zu recken scheint, und ein Himmel als Leinwand, auf dem die Kondensstreifen Spuren einer Sprache hinterlassen, die nicht zu entziffern ist, die nur als Richtungsvektoren einer Bewegung, einer Reise übrig beblieben sind - crossraods, Kreuzwege unserer Sehnsucht nach immer neuen Fern- oder Nahzielen. Francis, you're breaking my heart. If you could see the tears of joy in my eyes. The joy that we will meet some day on the not so virtual crossroads. Bags full of stories, minds full of music & glass of wine to discover each others perspective & longings, the pain & the joy of these crazy lifes we're living. Taking pictures of each other faces & traces of all these crossroads cut deep into our skin.

You're right, buddy, I would be happy but I am much happier that I found someone to take that frame & think of me in these cold & lonesome nights. And when the night gets dark & darker there's Francis to share a thought & shine light.
